Increasing globalization, the rapidly growing Indian economy and advances in technology have contributed to a sharp rise in complex legal issues faced by the society at large. This has brought about a paradigm-change in the roles of legal professionals. A lawyer today is a policy planner, business advisor, mediator, negotiator, a lobbyist, an effective communicator and also a business reformer. With the field becoming so vibrant and volatile, choice of law as a profession has seen massive improvement over the years. Gone are the days when admissions to Law Schools were taken only as a last resort. It has resulted into a situation where the legal profession has become one of the most growing and lucrative professions across the world.

The past decade has seen a mini revolution in the Legal Services Sector with the greatest impact on the Corporate Legal arena. Activities in Project Finance, Intellectual Property Protection, Environmental Protection, Competition Law, Corporate Taxation, Infrastructure Contracts, Corporate Governance and Investment Law were almost unknown prior to the 1990’s. The curriculum at our College is novel, innovative and designed to keep students equipped and up-to-date with the skills needed in the profession. This enables the students to develop a multidisciplinary approach to law in the sense that law and other behavioural sciences are seen in their context and their functional interaction with society.

The Faculty intends to achieve unparalleled excellence in the arena of legal education. Persistent efforts have been made to attain the goal of amalgamation of law students and the society in the most productive manner possible. All the activities of the teachers and the subjects taught aim at enhancing the eternal principles of justice.

The Esteemed Lucknow University granted affiliation to the College for running a 5-year Integrated L.L.B. (H) programme and  L.L.B. 3 Year programme after approval by the Bar Council of India.

The programme seeks to promote multidisciplinary analysis of socio-legal problems by designing its course-structure and teaching methods to realize these objectives. The methods of teaching in the Law College include Lecture Discussions, Case Law Analysis, Moot Court Training, Project Assignments and Placement Programmes. Additionally, the School organizes seminars on contemporary legal issues, conducts clinical courses and trains students in legal research and legal writing. By the time a student completes the 3 Year or 5-year programme he/she will be fully equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience required in the field of law to become a responsible member of the legal profession.
