Computer Lab Regulations
- Students are required to carry a valid ID card before entering the computer lab
- Students are not allowed to use Pen Drives, CDs, DVDs et., in a Computer Lab. Only prescribed official Pen Drives, CDs, DVDs etc. will be used in the Computer Lab to avoid VIRUSes in Computers.
No duplicate or pirated Software(s) will be allowed to be used in a Computer Lab
- Using/exchanging peripherals like mouse, keyboard etc. of one system to another system is prohibited
- Playing games in the lab is strictly prohibited
- Before leaving the lab, users must close all programs positively and turn off the computers properly
- Students are strictly not allowed to modify or delete important files or install any software
- Based on the prime priority, users may be requested by the In-Charge,IT Division to leave the workstation any time, compliance to his instructions is necessary
- Eating and drinking inside the computer labs is strictly prohibited for the students and faculty members
- Students are not allowed to carry any bag/folder inside the lab
- Timing of labs is 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on all working days
- Students are strictly prohibited from downloading, viewing or distributing any offensive materials (for example pornography, profane language, etc.)
- Internet facility is strictly for educational purposes only
- Silence must be maintained in the labs at all cost
- The labs must be kept clean and tidy at all times
- If any problem arises, please bring the same to the notice of IT lab In-Charge
- A student or a visitor who does not follow the above rules may be fined
